This former Bedouin village located 95 km Northwest of Sharm El
Sheikh (1 hour by road), was once a haven for back-packers, however Dahab has
now grown into an internationally famous small resort renown for its beautiful
palm fringed sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and unique natural
surroundings. Its superb location on the Gulf of Aqaba, makes it a firm
favourite for divers and windsurfers alike, who are attracted by its treasured
diving sites and favourable wind conditions. Excursions to the infamous blue
hole-a bottomless vertical tunnel encrusted with beautiful coral, the beautiful
Sinai Mountains and St. Catherines Monastery are easily arranged by our expert
and knowledgeable staff.
For the less energetic, Dahab is the ideal for those wishing to get away from
it all and unwind relax. The resort has excellent hotels of international
standards, whilst the town has a good mix of small and friendly bars together
with shops and restaurants too - your perfect opportunity to purchase some real
bargains or sample the freshly caught local fish, whilst savoring the warm
hospitality of the friendly local community.
