The majority of dive centres used by Marhaba Tours offer internationally
recognised certification courses inc. PADI, BSAC, SSI, NAUI & CMAS. On
completion, your qualification will allow you to participate in most diving
possibilities during future holidays, with the need for only a little local
training and guidance. The most popular beginners course is the PADI Open
Water, (PADI - Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Different
centres will be able to offer different dive opportunities, but all work within
the strict guidelines set down by the certification bodies for your safety and
enjoyment. You will find specific details for each resort.
Courses | PADI Standard Courses
PADI Scuba Diver
With this course you can become a PADI- certified diver in just two days,
leaving plenty of holiday time for other activities - or more diving! On Day 1
you master diving knowledge and basic scuba skills in the swimming pool. On Day
2 you will do your first two dives in the Red Sea! As a certified PADI Scuba
Diver, you may dive to a maximum depth of 12m under supervision by a PADI
professional.
PADI Open Water Diver
PADI Open Water is the most recognized scuba certification worldwide. The
course takes 4 to 5 full days. The first section develops your diving knowledge
and builds up your diving skills via pool sessions. On the final two days you
will make four open water dives in the Red Sea. As a PADI Open Water Diver you
may dive to a maximum depth of 18m, with a buddy of the same experience or
higher.
1. Equipment and materials for PADI Courses is included. For all PADI courses,
course manuals, certification and log books are not included. These may be
purchased locally. Please note that PADI now requires any student taking a PADI
course to have their own copy of course manual for their personal reference
during the course and in the future.
PADI Open Water Referral Option
To start diving as soon as you arrive, consider completing knowledge
development and confined water (pool) sessions for the PADI Open Water Course
before leaving home. You may then complete your open water dives in the Red Sea
after arrival. Details of PADI centres in your home country may be supplied on
request. Please ensure that you bring all required paperwork with you.
PADI Advanced Course
This course expands your knowledge and experience as a diver and qualifies you
to dive to 30m. The course normally takes two days, including five dives.
Navigation and Deep dives are compulsory. Choose different options for the
remaining three dives, including Underwater Photography, Underwater Naturalist,
Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift Diving and many more.
