ASWAN
Lying at the Northern border of Nubia, Aswan - Egypt's Southernmost city, enjoys a reputation with travelers worldwide as being one of the most attractive towns on the banks of the Nile. From colonial times when it was a popular Winter resort with the British, Aswan is one of the highlights on any tourist itinerary, as there is so much to see and do, whilst soaking up the unique rich African atmosphere and enjoying the warm hospitality of the local inhabitants.

Discover this charming town with its bustling bazaars and corniche and visit the magnificent ancient temples and historical monuments which are in abundance and close at hand too. These historical sites, which are a lasting tribute to the skill of the craftsmen who designed and built them, include the nearby quarries from which the Pharaoh's obtained the granite to build the obelisks and the monuments of ancient Thebes and the beautiful classical Temple of Philae, The Old Aswan Dam, the modern High Dam and both Elephantine & Kitchener Islands should not be missed either and a visit to the world famous Abu Simbel Temple - just 30 minutes by air, is a must whilst in Aswan and can be easily arranged for you by our expert staff.

As the end of the day when your sightseeing has finished, you can enjoy a felucca trip on the Nile, relax in the tranquil botanical gardens or retreat to the luxury of your hotel.
